If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many words is the worth of your voice?
While you contemplate this riddle, let me tell you about a new feature we have added to our widget: VoiceBlast! Basically, jaxtr now allows you to post your voice to your widget by calling into a jaxtr number from your phone (a domestic number in many countries). Save this number on your phone so you can update your VoiceBlast as many times as you like from any location.
For example, use it to let people know where you are, give them ideas for best times to reach you, what kind of contacts you want, etc. Just hearing the sound of your voice will give people a much better idea for who you are.
Let us know how you are using your VoiceBlast. In fact, you can embed your blog-sized widget into the comments so that everyone else can hear your VoiceBlast too!

P.S. You control whether your VoiceBlast gets played automatically as soon as someone visits your page or whether they need to click on the PLAY button to hear it. It all depends on how brave you are :-)

I love jaxtr. However I found some problem. Some of the "special" number created does not work. Specially those starting with 1-646-652-07xx
Another thing, I tried to call a special number, the message told me that I have to call using the original number I used on my first attempt. I am sure I am calling from the same phone, but it still not working.
Thirdly, how come some number got 100 jax, others get 1000 jax and one of my friends received 2000 jax? Is this done randomly?

I also liked Jaxtr initially. I am not able to call my friends since when i call them it says you dont have enough credits.I have 100 jaxtr's in my account, but My friend's jaxtr's are gone after talking 10 mins, and it will take one month again to get more jaxtr in his account. So it means i can call only next month for a few minutes thats it. Which makes jaxtr useless for me to use.
I dont know has any one faced similar problems or is there a way out.
I found some problem with jaxtr. None of the special numbers created i.e. 646-652-07xx does not work. I get a message saying that jaxtr is connection your call but then call directly goes to voice mail. i dont know what is wrong
just after talking for 15 minutes, my jax is 0, now i have to wait for a month to talk again. It is a useless service. Is this practical?

Mobile says error in connection
Initially I like jaxtr very much but its useless specially for the people living in India none of the jaxtr no is working in India and if u have friend or relative who live abroad and want to call he can call u only for 16 min in a month.

i love jxtre but problem is that i am unable to make a call with my phone.i dont know why ervery call i made is directly tranfered to voice mail not to my friend phon. from khtahirali
Khtahirali, dont worry, everything is working correctly.
By default, when you sign up for
jaxtr, your privacy shield is ON (the box on the home page is checked). When the Privacy Shield is on, all calls go directly to voicemail.
If you want calls to ring through to your phone, you have two options. You can either:
1) Listen to your voicemails on the "Calls" page, and choose to "Approve" users who you would like to ring though to your phone. OR
2) Turn off your privacy shield so all calls ring through to your phone. To do this, all you need to do is uncheck the box on the home page.
Make sure your friends have done one of these things, and once they have, you will be able to call their phone, and wont get stuck at voicemail.
