Jaxtr Gets Local Numbers for Mumbai, India

Jaxtr has been offering local numbers in India for awhile, but we're happy to announce that we now have local numbers in Mumbai, India. These local numbers come in addition to those numbers that we already offer based in Hyderabad. This is great news for many of our Indian jaxtr members, and we're glad that we can continue to help you lower your costs of staying in touch with loved ones around the world.

In case you're unfamiliar with these numbers, the in-country jaxtr numbers allow you to call for free to other jaxtr members. Jaxtr members can also bypass expensive international phone charges to call out-of-network friends, family, and business contacts in the United States, Canada, and many other countries for as little as 0.46 INR (46 paisa or 0.01 USD) per minute.

Traveling the World
With Indians traversing the globe, I'm sure that many of you have more than a few connections residing elsewhere. There are so many Indians in Dubai that they make up 42.5% of the entire expat community there. Conversely, there are plenty of people moving to India because of its expanding economy. The GDP in India is projected to grow by 7.4% for 2008-2009, and that smells like opportunity to a lot of forward-thinking entrepreneurs around the world.

Make International Calls at Jaxtr.com
With that all said, be sure to head on over to jaxtr.com to make your international calls. If you're not already a jaxtr member, you can sign up for free on this link. When you sign up, you will receive free jax--our credits--to try out the service. Also, don't hesitate to leave us a comment about other regions where you'd like local numbers. We're continually improving the service, and it really helps to hear from you.
